- We’re looking for a Product Designer with excellent prototyping, motion, and brand/visual design skills to join our Partnerships team and to support how Thumbtack’s brand system shows up across the product
- This role sits at the intersection of go-to-market design and in-product brand experience: you’ll pair product design sensibility with storytelling, prototyping, and polish to accelerate partnerships and go-to-market efforts, while also helping translate brand system updates — iconography, motion language, moments of delight — into consistent, high-craft product experiences beyond Partnerships alone. You’ll work closely with Business Development, Sales, Go-to-Market Operations, Product, and Brand teams
- This is a product design role with a twist: you’ll spend more of your time than most roles in visualizing new experiences, prototyping, animation, and production design — creating interactive demos and motion-rich experiences for partners, and elevating motion and brand craft in live product surfaces
- Lead a significant portion of our product experience and be accountable for business outcomes
- Conduct user research and lightweight tests to scope and prioritize product initiatives
- Transform a vague, ambitious idea into a compelling business and product case, secure resources, and lead execution with clear success criteria
- Champion deep learnings and insights as a core metric, valuing them alongside traditional metrics to fuel smarter, more innovative product decisions
- Partner with marketing, engineers, designers, data and applied scientists to ideate, prioritize and deliver great solutions for our customers and professionals
- Coordinate within your team and among teams at Thumbtack to ensure understanding of and alignment around projects
- Drive a high-impact initiative from seed to scale, ensuring sustained focus by thoughtfully sunsetting or culling initiatives that do not meet success criteria
